Starting with the positive

We have had amazing support from community partners during this pandemic. (Not that we are surprised, Guelph is terrific at this.) Here is Jane Ryan-Champagne from Cardio Respiratory Services with ventilators on loan from the University of Guelph’s Ontario Veterinary College and Respiratory Therapy Program-Conestoga College to support our patients who need assistance breathing. Thank you OVC and Conestoga!

Next Employee Wellness Webinar tonight
Many of us may be feeling anxiety and stress right now, and it could be increasing every day. You may feel that some days are okay, and other days are overwhelming. It is important we try to find some time to support our emotional and mental health during this pandemic.
With this in mind, we have been working with Homewood Health, our EFAP provider, to schedule their emotional/mental health Webinar offerings. As a result, we have scheduled all five of the Homewood Health COVID-19 wellness webinars. The second one, Building Resilience in the Face of COVID-19, is tonight at 7 p.m. For all the details and how to register, click here.

CEO message April 26
Hello all,

Over the last several weeks, I’ve been fortunate to see firsthand how you, and our community health care partners, have stepped up to the plate during the pandemic. You were all called to a greater purpose in helping and healing others, and you continue to do so with dignity, patience, and calm.
